I have always had a passion for working with children and knew at a young age that pursuing a teaching career was something I wanted to achieve.
In 2006, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education along with the Reading Endorsement from Ashland University. My first-year teaching was at Lorain City Schools as a first and second grade teacher. After being laid off from Lorain City Schools, I was back to job searching and being a Patient Service Representative at the Cleveland Clinic. I was hired at St. Peter School in 2010 as the Title One Reading teacher while also nannying part time for a great family of two children. After one year at St. Peter School, I was offered a full-time position as the preschool teacher. During this time, I completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education. It has been such a pleasure to educate young children and to watch the Preschool Program grow and change at St. Peter School.
My family and friends are everything to me. In my spare time you can typically find me wherever they are. I love to travel (especially to the beach), read, scrapbook, and spend time outdoors.
