7TH GRADE

Mrs. Van Dyke

Mrs. Van Dyke has been a teacher at St. Peter School for the past 18 years. After she graduated from Baldwin Wallace College, she had substituted for half a year. After her subbing experience, she got hired on for the next school year to teach sixth grade. As well as being a teacher here, she is also a former student. She loves the welcoming atmosphere from the parents as well as the students. She also teaches part time at St. Ignatius High School. Mrs. Van Dyke has 3 children, which all attend St. Peter School. In her spare time, she loves to bowl, read, swim, and spend time with her family.

Overview:

The Junior High years present the opportunity for students to become more focused and independent regarding the blending of school and social aspects.  The curriculum builds on those skills introduced and honed during the previous years.
